Isaiah 55 – Part 5 – HIS End Game

Here is today's portion, the closing verses of Isaiah 55:

10 For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky,
and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth,
and makes it grow and bud,
and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11 so is my word that goes out of my mouth:
it will not return to me void,
but it will accomplish that which I please,
and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.
12 For you shall go out with joy,
and be led out with peace.
The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing;
and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up;
and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up.
It will make a name for Yahweh,
for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”
With our Elohim, nothing is done without purpose and longevity.
Yes, it rains, and indeed it snows, but it never returns without first accomplishing a blessing on the earth, the land.
Working with the sun, the air and the soil, dormant seeds come to life, buds develop and plants come to life - and not for just the now, but for the now and for the future.
"gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater" - producers and consumers alike benefit.
So it is with the WORD of Elohim as well...accomplish...prosper. This is the promise. The WORD never fails.
And finally, in verses 12 and 13, we have the closing words of the chapter. How this will all end:
The thirsty that accept HIS water
The hungry that receive HIS food without cost
Those that accept the good things of fatness: wine and milk without money
Those that will turn, come, hear and live...and be welcomed into an eternal covenant of blessing
Those that have found HIM because they have sought HIM
Those that have forsaken their wrong way, cleansed their wrong thoughts, returned to receive mercy and pardon...
These will come to know JOY and PEACE and SINGING and CLAPPING of the entire CREATION - giving praise to our Elohim, and exalting HIS Covenant NAME!

HalleluJAH!
